Understanding Business Owners Insurance
Business Owners Insurance, also known as BOP insurance, is a policy that combines property and liability coverage into a package. This type of insurance is favored among many different sized businesses like restaurants, wholesalers, and more.
What is Covered Under BOP Insurance?
A Business Owners Policy contains two main coverages:
Liability– The liability coverages offered on BOP are the same as those on a general liability policy.
Property– BOP Insurance offers coverage for commercial buildings and the movable property used by the business. It can also cover other things like debris removal and pollution cleanup.
A BOP Insurance policy does have certain exclusions to take note of. For example, a failure of computer hardware or software is not covered under the BOP policy
